Standing Meditation

As the name suggests, this is a meditation done whilst in the standing position. Your feet are shoulder width apart and your arms are in various postures. The emphasis is on standing up straight, with good balance, relaxation, and gentle breathing. Once mastered, the feelings of total relaxation, happiness, and letting go can be quite intense, and very enjoyable. The hands become very warm, and circulation is restored as your body returns more to it's natural state

Standing meditation provides a very gentle stretch to your body's muscles, tendons, nerves and connective tissue. It also balances the brain so that the "internal chatter" quietens down, followed by alertness and relaxation. Part of the exercise includes body movement, and is an extension of everything learnt during the meditation.Promotional Flyer
